Dr. Anna Saylor's Vital Vitamins series at Van Every Family Chiropractic Center in Royal Oak starts with one idea: the most expensive vitamin is the one that doesn't work. So far she has covered where to buy, the three basics, MitoCore, OrthoBiotic, OrthoMega and reacted magnesium.
If you want a straight answer on chiropractor vitamins in Royal Oak, this page gathers every piece of the series in the order we shared it, in her own words.
Why buy chiropractor vitamins in Royal Oak from a professional-only office?
Dr. Saylor's answer is that the source decides what is actually in the bottle. Her goal is to not waste your time or your money.
When people tell her they just buy things off Amazon, she points to what we are learning: there is no quality control in an Amazon warehouse. She named poor temperature and poor humidity as things that affect how potent and how strong a product is. She also said you can't guarantee a product hasn't been tampered with, and that there are a lot of counterfeit products, with labels being peeled off and changed. That is why what we sell says not for resale, and why she asks people not to buy it off Amazon.
Our products come from a known source, and we vetted them. We don't roll anything out unless we are doing it ourselves: Dr. Saylor takes it, and so does the staff. She also said she can test you directly to know exactly what you should be taking, how much and when. Families visit us in Royal Oak from Troy, Ferndale, Berkley and Clawson, and you can read more about the supplements we carry.
What are the top three basics?
A multivitamin, a probiotic and a fish oil. Dr. Saylor starts everyone with a really good multivitamin, then makes sure there is a probiotic and a fish oil.
She said that if you started nowhere else, those are the three she would recommend, the three basics everyone should be taking. After that, she said you can add magnesium and collagen. If you have a health concern you are dealing with, she said we can find two in a product that will work for you.
What are MitoCore, OrthoBiotic and OrthoMega?
They are the multivitamin, probiotic and fish oil we carry in our Royal Oak office, each one chosen because Dr. Saylor found it to be the best of its kind.
MitoCore
MitoCore is the multivitamin Dr. Saylor called the top one we could recommend, the best product we've found that is out there. She explained that it is not just a multivitamin. She listed antioxidant, immune system and detox support, plus energy: the name refers to mitochondria, which she described as the energy of your cells. It also has green tea and broccoli seed in it, on top of a really good multivitamin. We dose it two to four times a day.
OrthoBiotic
OrthoBiotic is our probiotic, and it has seven strains in it. What stands out to her is the coating, which allows it to get to your intestines, where it goes where it needs to. A lot of probiotics, she said, start to dissolve instantly and don't make it to the gut. She called this the max probiotic you can take, and the dose is one per day.
OrthoMega fish oil
OrthoMega is our fish oil, and Dr. Saylor said she learned at a seminar that fish oils are not all the same, especially the ones that aren't doctor recommended. She said the source matters most: this one comes off the Chilean coast, from what she called the cleanest and most sustainable fish in the world. She said that means no pesticides or heavy metals in the fish, and that PCBs are removed. She described superior absorption, maximum purity and freshness, plus rosemary, vitamin E and DPA in the formula. She also said there is no fishy taste or odor and no burps, and that everyone in the office bit into one to find out.
What does reacted magnesium mean?
Reacted means the magnesium is built to be absorbed better. Dr. Saylor said, "magnesium, you want the word reacted," and then explained, "So reacted means that it's gonna increase the absorption rate."
She called our magnesium awesome and listed what she said it does: "it's gonna help with stress management, antioxidant, detoxing, energy production, blood pressure, blood glucose". Then she shared what she found when she did the research: "57% of people fall short of the daily requirements of this mineral." "So most people don't have enough magnesium whatsoever."

Why does Dr. Saylor say not to buy our supplements on Amazon?
She said there is no quality control in an Amazon warehouse. She named poor temperature and humidity, which affect how potent and strong a product is, and counterfeit products with labels peeled off and changed. That is why what we sell comes from a known source that we vetted, and why it says not for resale.
How often do you take MitoCore and OrthoBiotic?
We dose MitoCore two to four times a day, and OrthoBiotic is one per day. Dr. Saylor also said she can test you directly to know exactly what you should be taking, how much you should be taking and when, so ask at our Royal Oak office.
What does reacted mean on a magnesium label?
Dr. Saylor said reacted means the magnesium is going to increase the absorption rate, so it is the word to look for. When she did the research, she found that 57% of people fall short of the daily requirements of this mineral. Ask us about magnesium at our Royal Oak office.
