Kids are carrying more than they used to
ADHD, autism, sensory processing challenges, allergies, asthma and ear infections are on the rise in kids. Parents, teachers and therapists see it every day, and they want to know why.
The Perfect Storm explains how early stressors stack up: a stressful pregnancy, a hard birth, early rounds of medication and more. Layer by layer, they can leave a child's nervous system stuck in a protective, high-alert state.
Dr. Zach gives your group a whole-child framework for understanding what they are seeing, plus practical next steps parents and staff can start using right away.
