Sphenoid bone and KST Chiropractic care at Van Every in Royal Oak MI

What Is the Sphenoid?

The sphenoid is a butterfly-shaped bone at the base of the skull. Because it connects with other cranial structures, chiropractors trained in gentle cranial work may evaluate this area when a patient has head, neck, jaw, or facial tension.

How KST Is Used

Koren Specific Technique (KST) is a low-force chiropractic method. At Van Every Family Chiropractic Center, our doctors use KST and the ArthroStim instrument to gently assess and address movement or tension patterns in the spine, cranial area, jaw, and related structures.

KST is not a treatment for depression, endocrine disorders, migraine disease, or other medical conditions. If your symptoms are severe, new, progressive, or medically concerning, we will encourage you to work with the appropriate medical provider.

Van Every Family Chiropractic Center and KST

Our team uses gentle, neurologically focused chiropractic care to support comfort, mobility, and overall function. Schedule an appointment to learn whether KST is a good fit for your goals.
