A Gentle, but Powerful Chiropractic Technique
Dr. Saylor and Dr. Ashley practice the Koren Specific Technique (KST). Developed by Dr. Ted Koren, it’s a powerful form of chiropractic care that allows for precise analysis of the entire body.
The procedure for this technique involves The Three Cs:
Challenging. Moving each body part in different directions allows for your entire structure to be checked.
Checking. If the challenge moves a body part that’s out of alignment further out of position, the base of your skull will drop slightly, showing us if an area needs correction.
Correcting. An adjustment is performed using the ArthroStim® instrument, restoring your body’s proper alignment.
KST is so gentle that babies often sleep right through their adjustments!
Most people feel extremely relaxed afterward, and occasionally may be tired. Your body is processing the adjustment, and you may feel a bit sore. That feeling is normal and expected.
