I have been a patient at Van Every Family Chiropractic Center
since 2000 and an employee since 2005. My son Aiden was born
in May of 2007. The day after he was born he had his first
adjustment!! He continues to be adjusted on a regular basis.
Aiden had a lot of digestive problems as an infant and we
discovered that he was allergic to milk, soy and wheat. At
the time I got him adjusted about 2 to 3 times a week. It
made a significant difference in his disposition. His colic
stopped and his digestive system regulated. Aiden is now
2 years old and has NEVER had an ear infection. I believe
it’s because he gets adjusted often. He continues to
get adjusted weekly with Dr. Saylor’s technique, KST.
It is a non abrasive technique that Aiden loves. I feel so
fortunate to have exposed my son to chiropractic care from
birth. It has clearly contributed to his well being. |

Hi my name is Denelle and I have been on Van Every’s
team since 2008. I really enjoy working in an environment focused
on healing. Personally I have been a fan of chiropractic since
the 80’s. Chiropractic helps me manage the tension in
my neck and back. Regular adjustments also help me manage my
stress and sinus headaches, without medication. It simply keeps
me in balance. My most profound KST adjustment occurred after
a 48 hour food poisoning episode. I had very sore ribs and
was aching everywhere. I can’t even explain how much
better I felt after Dr. Saylor adjusted me. So I can attest
that an adjustment can help you heal faster. We have a lot
of pediatric patients in our practice. It is great to see chiropractic
through the childrens perspective…they get it….they
know when they are out and tell their parents when they need
an adjustment. Some of our youngsters who practice sign language
have made up a sign for an adjustment. I enjoy encouraging
patients to keep on track with their health goals. It is really
rewarding to see their progress. I love all things summer:
water, sun, boating, and gardening. When the clouds come out,
you can find me antiquing or shopping. I am a mother to a cockatiel,
named Buddy whom I adopted in 2002 and spoil rotten and a chihauha
named Piquita who loves to come to the office. |

I became a patient of
Van Every Chiropractic
Center in April, 2005,
after having back surgery.
I suffered chronic
sciatic pain as well
as back pain and had
tried physical therapy
which did little to
alleviate my pain.
My husband was a patient
at Van Every and he
talked me into chiropractic
after it helped him
with chronic shoulder
pain. After being treated
on a regular basis
I now have no back
or sciatic pain at
all. I have since become
the proud mommy of
two girls, Jordan and
Alexandra and a little
boy, Joseph "Joey". I have had all of them adjusted
since birth. They are
all very healthy children
and I think the gentle touch of Dr. Saylor has been a large
contributor to that.
I’m also a sports fanatic and love attending or watching just about
any game! I joined the Van Every team just before my twin sister, Amy, in May
of 2008.

My family encouraged me to try chiropractic treatment as a
natural approach to healing when I was pregnant and struggling
with sciatic pain. I was very impressed with my results and
have continued with care under Dr. Saylor with my three boys
as well. I believe our regular adjustments have kept my kids
healthy; we have not needed to visit our pediatrician for
a sick visit in three years! I have loved my experience with
the Van Every family so much that I was thrilled to join
the team in June of 2008.

she loves music (especially
the Beatles), traveling,
and being a mom. Heather
received her schooling
at Carnegie Institute in
Troy, and has taken additional
training at William Beaumont
Hospital to help broaden
her knowledge. She specializes

| I am a
Royal Oak native and it is my pleasure
to join the
Van Every team as a Massage
Therapist.
After studying music in college, I wanted
to start a career in which I could learn
and help others to live healthier, less
stressful lives. A family friend suggested
I study Massage Therapy at Carnegie Institute
in Troy, which I did in 2009 and loved
it! I am trained in techniques that include
Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy
massage and Lymphatic wellness massage.
I look forward to meeting you and working
with Dr. Saylor
in helping you achieve your health goals!. |

Hi! My name is Kathy, and I'm the newest member of the Van Every team.
After retiring from a communication company and being home for a year,
I got bored (just like everyone said I would!). I wanted to work again,
but do something I enjoyed that was fun and rewarding. I consider myself
fortunate to have the opportunity to work for Dr. Saylor. The atmosphere
is fun and it's rewarding to see how many people are helped by Dr. Saylor.
Never having seen a chiropractor before, I was surprised to learn after
my initial scan that my shoulder pain was coming from
my neck. After thinking about it, I realized it was probably from carrying
a ladder for 25 years! I had immediate relief after my very first adjustment!
I now have my husband Mark coming on a regular basis, and he feels great
too! Regular adjustments have helped his lower back pain and carpel tunnel
syndrome. I look forward to getting to know all of our patients and learning
more about the amazing qualities of chiropractic care. |

My name is Laura and
I am the newest member
to the Van Every
Family Chiropractic
family. I am a born
and raised Royal
Oak-er
as is my husband, Mark. We have 2 daughters and a son that
attend Oak Ridge Elementary
School right around the corner. They are all patients here
at Van Every. I love to hear my kids say, “Mom, I think
I will feel better after an adjustment.”
I have been a
patient here since 2006 and am a firm believer in the benefits
of chiropractic care as it relates to my mind,
body, and spirit. I have experienced relief from headaches,
vertigo, and insomnia. The environment at Van Every has only
made my experiences with chiropractic care better; the warm
and caring staff here is really like no other! I even told
myself when I began my visits years back, “Now THIS
is the kind of place I would like to work at!” |
