On your first visit, you will check in with the front desk staff and receive the paperwork for you. You can download the forms right from this website. This paper work lets Dr. Saylor know of your needs and your long-term health goals. You will find our Doctor and staff very supportive in helping you reach your health goals.

Dr. Saylor will ask you about your health complaints and concerns. They will also ask about your family history, dietary habits, other care you may have had (chiropractic, medical, physical therapy, etc.), your job and other questions designed to help determine the nature of your problem and the best way to go about treating the problem.
A thorough physical and spinal examination will be performed to detect any structural problems, which may be affecting or causing your condition. This examination will include a thermogenic spinal scan and muscle tension reading of the muscles supporting your spine on our Subluxation Station equipment. This is a non-invasive way to evaluate the function of your nervous system, beyond the parts that you can sense. This technology is an objective measurement of your progress in our office. All of these elements are important components of your total health profile, and vital to the doctor in evaluating your problem as well as your progress.

Once we have identified the problem, we will begin care by way of Koren Specific Technique, or KST. We use a tool called the Arthrostim to gently ‘tap’ the bones into place. KST uses light force and is very specific, thereby giving great results that many patients have not seen with more traditional adjustments.

Under normal circumstances, adjustments do not hurt. Adjustments are extremely safe. After the adjustment, the doctor will give you further instructions on what you can do at home to help implement your health goals. Remember to make sure you schedule about an hour for this first visit.

The bottom line is, our knowledgeable doctor and staff have your health at heart, and will do our best to see that you are as well as possible. We look forward to seeing you!
